Teaching on the Chenrezig Practice – Inställd!

 April 17-19, 2020

Tyvärr får vi ställa in Lama Phuntsoks kurs, på grund av det osäkra läget i världen.
Vi försöker hitta ett datum längre fram då han kan komma.

Weekend course with Lama Phuntsok

Chenrezig is the embodiment of all the buddhas’ compassion and love. The literal translation of his name means “The One Who Beholds With Loving Eyes”. Chenrezig’s brilliant white body represents the luminosity of primordial wisdom, the spark of enlightenment.

The practice of Chenrezig consists of closing the gap between the practitioner and the practice, so there is no difference between the person meditating and the love and compassion they are cultivating. In the end the practitioner becomes the very nature of love and compassion.

 The practice of Chenrezig

– the Buddha of Compassion – and the recitation of the mantra is considered one of the most common, beloved and powerful of all the practices in Tibetan Buddhism.

Lama Phuntsok will clearly set forth the principles and theory of this meditation and then give instructions for the practice of Chenrezig.

Mantra Chenrezig

You do not need any special prerequisites to participate!

Lama Phuntsok resided for ten years in Palden Shangpa La Boulaye, France. He made various retreats there, including the three-year one. At the end of it Lama Phuntsok assisted the retreat master for several years. He then stayed in India for two years where he received spiritual guidance from Bokar Rinpoche. He is currently working for Kalu Rinpoche.

Lama Phuntsok has visited us in Gothenburg for the last years and his teachings have been very appreciated and useful.
